MEET THE EAST COAST DEFENDER PROJECT TUKI
East Coast Defender has designed and built a Land Rover Defender 110 to celebrate the vehicle’s heritage with this Project Tuki model.
This Defender celebrates its ancestors with a heritage style Land Rover grille, retro white steel wheels with BF Goodrich tyres and familiar Keswick dark green paintwork.
The Project Tuki is powered by a rebuilt 4,0-litre V8 engine producing 130 kW. Putting power to the wheels is a five-speed ZF automatic transmission.
This nine-seater Defender features charcoal coloured leather seats, nickel instrument gauges and a wooden steering wheel.
The vehicle’s chassis has also been updated whereas the interior features a Kenwood infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto functionality, satellite navigation as well as a reversing camera.
If you enjoy this sort of resto-mod be sure to check out the 298 kW Defender Works.
